SILVER JUBILEE YEAR  2006-07

Beloved old students,

I hope you have seen my letter about the Silver Jubilee in this website.  We are planning the following projects also for this momentous occasion in the history of our School. 

 The parents of our present students have agreed to support the cause.  I thought I should make a personal appeal to our old students too, to contribute liberally to the Silver Jubilee Fund.  Old students who visit us evince a lot of interest in our progress.We appreciate your love and deep sense of loyalty to your alma mater.

The Silver Jubilee Projects are,

a)  We have started the construction of a Science Laboratory Block. This will be a four-storeyed building of some 8000 sq ft area.  This is estimated to cost around Rs 50 lakhs.

b)  We will also build a Silver Jubilee Indoor Stadium-cum-Auditorium costing another Rs 50 lakhs. 

Names of those who contribute Rs 5000/- and above will be inscribed on marble plaques in one of the buildings, thus memorializing their participation in the Silver Jubilee Project.  Surely there are many of our old students who are capable of contributing this amount or perhaps much more.  If God has blessed you materially, please do contribute liberally to this project.  We would like to inscribe many such generous people’s names in marble. 

Please send your Cheque or DD in favour of LITTLE ROCK INDIAN SCHOOL. Please show your name, years of study in LRIS, full address, telephone number, email ID etc in your covering letter.

It is our hope that we can meet many of you in December during the Alumni Reunion. Please do make it a point to be here on this great occasion.
