Little Rock Indian School

I understand and respect our School’s philosophy of education, administrative systems and its assiduously nurtured school climate. I will be faithful to the fundamental principles of the School in my words and actions, even beyond and above the call of duty. I shall not forget that Little Rock is for children, and we, teachers are here for them.

I shall maintain professional integrity, and uphold the dignity of the school in all matters, in my personal and professional transactions. I shall try constantly and diligently to improve my subject knowledge, teaching skills and the execution of my duties.

I shall respect those working with me, and all my students. Humane schooling which is the cornerstone of my School especially demands that I treat every child with love and respect, and remember the watchword – Every child matters.

I shall be firm when necessary but friendly and respectful towards students – and no decision or action will be taken with hate, vengeance, prejudice etc – I know that disciplining is an integral part of schooling, but it has to be done with utmost care and caution, without rancour or ill-will. As a teacher I should learn to forget and forgive.

I shall be fair and just at all times, especially in relation to students. I believe that nothing impacts students as much as my personality which is nothing but my personal qualities. I know that I have to be just before being generous.
