Academic Achievements of the School

LITTLE ROCK has excelled in academic performance all through its history, with an equally impressive record in co-curricular achievements.

Thirteen batches of Class X Students and eleven batches of Class XII Students were presented for the final examinations conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The School has not only secured excellent results consistently, but also most students passed with distinction and first class. A large number of students passed with A1 grade in individual subjects, A1 grade being the highest score at the national level. A few students in each batch have received the coveted Merit Certificates for having come into the top-most 0.1% at the national level in the respective subjects.

The School maintains a high standard of education, without adopting methods like excessive homework, dictation of notes, rote-memorization, extra tuition, punishment system etc.

Parents who seek admission for their children in LITTLE ROCK are expected to know some of these basic differences the School has adopted in schooling.

Extra-curricular Activities

Meaningful education is much more than mere academic excellence. The emotional faculties of students should be developed by a range of extra-curricular activities at school. With this end in view, the School has introduced NCC (both army and navy), NCC (Army-girls), Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Bulbuls etc, and different clubs to cater to the
various interest/aptitude groups. Adequate emphasis is given to sports and games to build up the physical and mental endurance of students. Literary and cultural competitions are organized every year to unearth and encourage the latent talents of students.

The Little Rock flag has been flying high in the extra-curricular field, be it sports and games, computer quiz, elocution, General Knowledge quiz, in many a regional, national and even international competition.
