Little Rock Science Park
| Newsflash |
Little Rock has taken up a new project to establish a “Science Park” on our campus. `Science Park’ as the name indicates is a cluster of open-air Science Gadgets aesthetically designed and ruggedly fabricated and permanently installed in order to facilitate the play-way method of learning science. This project is going to be an effective tool in the hands of Science Teachers and thereby making learning a more meaningful and fun-filled activity.
This project is initiated with a grant received by Mr Harikrsihna D, PGT in Biology and Academic Co-ordinator, from United States Department of State through its ILEP (International Leadership in Education Programme) Small Grants Programme and an equal contribution from the School. A full fledged Science Park may cost around Rs. 20,00,000/-. It is our earnest hope that it would be materialized eventually with the help of our alumni and parents. Those who want to be a part of this project may send a cheque drawn in the name of the Principal, Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar.
We have not approached our old students so far for any support or contribution. We thought we should give them time to settle down, after gaining employment. Now the time seems to be ripe because some old students are coming forward to support the school financially.
If you would like to support this cause, you may send your cheque to :
