A book entitled “Soliloquies of a Principal” authored by Prof. Mathew C. Ninan, Principal was released in June 2011.

The book has a Foreword  by Dr. (Prof.) K. Ramnarayan, Vice Chancellor of Manipal University, who himself released the book.

This book is a compendium of articles mainly on school education written by Prof. Ninan; most of them published in newspapers and journals.

The book has been widely acclaimed by the academic community.

Professor Mathew C Ninan, Principal was honoured for his outstanding service to society in the field of Education by Brahmavar-Barkur Citizens' Forum, Brahmavar in December 2007.

Professor Mathew C. Ninan, Principal was invited to present a paper at the International Congress of School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) at its annual conference in the Florida Atlantic University, Florida, USA in January 2006. 

Counselling Resource of the School

29 teachers of Little Rock hold a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, of the Kuvempu University, besides degrees in the subjects they teach at School.

This was made possible as a result of a drive by the School management to infuse “Counselling” skills among the teaching faculty of our School.

We believe that our teachers should have a counselling attitude and the required counselling skills to deal with students in the most impressionable stage of their life. We believe that we have a substantial resource amongst our teachers with specialized training in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and this has been a remarkable value addition.

FULBRIGHT SCHOLARS

Mrs Bindu Jose and Mr Shaji Philip, Post-graduate Teachers of the School were receipents of the Fulbright Fellowship for the year 2007. Mr Harikrishna D, PGT in Biology has been selected for the Fulbright Fellowship for 2008. He happens to be the only teacher selected from Karnataka State this year. Fellowship was for a period of 5 months in a US University.
