Dr. C.T. Abraham, the founder of Priority One India, Brahmavar passed away in Brahmavar this morning after prolonged illness. He was aged 77, and was bedridden for a few years.

Dr. Abraham is the founder of Little Rock Indian School, Crossland College and India Theological Seminary which function at the Priority Highlands Campus in Brahmavar. Besides these educational institutions he had founded the Brahmavar Baptist Church, and Heidi Home, an Orphanage.

Great visionary, educationist, effective communicator, and spiritual leader, Dr. Abraham has been a tower of strength and a great motivator to all those associated with these institutions and his ministry.

Every institution he founded was one with a difference.  The accent has always been on high quality, and the service of the community. A huge community of teachers, staff and students owe their gratitude to this great visionary, for making a difference in their lives due to his self-less service and exemplary life. The work scholarship scheme he introduced enabled so many young men and women from financially deprived sections to study in the college and gain employment.

He belongs to the Cheppanalil family of Venmoney, near Chengannur in Kerala. After his early education in his home town, he started his career as a High School Teacher. A gold medalist in B.Ed from the Kerala University, he went on to earn his PhD in Science Education from the University of Maryland, USA.   He was also awarded an honorary doctorate by the Liberty University, Virginia in USA. Dr. Abraham taught in Peet Memorial Training College in Mavelikara for some years.

He leaves behind his wife Mrs Alice Abraham, and two daughters Mrs Lali Abraham and Mrs Leela Abraham.  His sons-in-law are Professor Mathew C. Ninan, Principal of Little Rock and Mr Varghese Daniel, the Admin Officer of the campus.  His nephew Dr. Roy Philip is the Dean of the India Theological Seminary.
